Ah. Summer. What’s not to like about the summer season when perks include being able to wear lighter clothing, achieve a better tan, bask in the sun, and have outdoorsy adventures? Oh, that’s right. As much as obtaining some natural vitamin D can be good for one’s body, exposure to the sun and outside heat comes with risks such as sunburns, dehydration, skin damage and cancer.
