The sisters of Delta Phi Lambda Sorority Inc. at Georgia State University will host “Stroll Your Bones Off”, a strolling competition and philanthropy event, at 7 p.m. Eastern standard time on Thursday, Dec. 3 at the Urban Life Building, room 220.

“Stroll Your Bones Off” was designed by the sisters of Gamma Chapter with the purpose of uniting Georgia State University’s Greek community for the greater purpose of giving back to the Atlanta community while bringing awareness of osteoporosis to our peers. In order to promote diversity and unity among Georgia State University’s four large Greek counsels, “Stroll your Bones Off” is open to all undergraduate students who are members of any chartered Greek organization on Georgia State University’s campus.

In order to gain admission to “Stroll Your Bones Off,” attendants must bring nonperishable canned goods. We will donate these cans of food to an Atlanta food shelter with the hope of making a meaningful impact on families in need during the holiday season. Not only do we hope Stroll Your Bones Off to be a successful and memorable event that will have a lasting impact on our university campus, but we also hope Stroll Your Bones Off will educate our peers on osteoporosis and Delta Phi Lambda’s work to improve the image of the Asian American Community.
