Did you know that 85 percent of millenials made a charitable donation in 2014?

This year, Delta Phi Lambda Foundation would like you to choose us as one of those charitable donations for #GivingTuesday, a hashtag activist movement that started four years ago with the 92nd Street YMCA in New York City. Following on the heels of #BlackFriday and #CyberMonday, #GivingTuesday asks folks to dig deep into their hearts and donate to a good cause.

Today, we would like to encourage all sisters and friends of Delta Phi Lambda to sign up to be a Champion of the Foundation. Champions support the Foundation through personal donations or through coordinating fundraising activities. As a Champion, you can sign up to be a recurring monthly donor in the amount of $20 and help a sister with her books or transportation costs for a semester. As a Champion, you can also form teams to get you and your friends together to help us reach our fundraising goals and increase the number of sisters we serve through scholarships.

Another way you can help is by designating the Delta Phi Lambda Foundation as your charity through It’s so quick and easy. Anytime you make an eligible purchase through Amazon, a percentage goes to the Foundation.

The #GivingTuesday movement has really grown with over 30,000 partners in 68 different countries. Won’t you join us?
