In honor of Women’s History Month, The Jade Times started a campaign to celebrate dedicated female leaders within Delta Phi Lambda who inspire and create movements. Our goal is to inspire others to start their own movements and also recognize sisters who make a difference in others’ lives,  whether they realize it or not.

Last week, we featured the Empowering Eight charter class at Iowa State University. If you haven’t had the chance to read our feature with them, check it here.

This Tuesday, we are proud to feature Juliet “Escapade” Shen from University at Albany!

Melody “PANDEMONiiUM” Tien said Juliet has contributed a great amount to their chapter’s philanthropy and is an inspiration because of her dedication and love for Asian American Awareness. She has a blog called Fascinasians (www.fascinasiansblog.com), which is dedicated to these issues and her travels discussing them.

Not only does she have a blog, Juliet also speaks on Asian American issues at multiple conferences and colleges. She is dedicated, full of passion and a pillar in our community, said Molly “M.E.O.W.” Naaktgeboren.

So, who inspires you and why? We want to know.

Every week, we will feature your nominations on our website and on our Instagram (@thejadetimes).
