National Mentorship Program

The National Alumnae Association has kicked off a mentorship program between Alumnae and Undergraduates.

The goal is to connect current undergraduate students with alumnae on all matters including:

  • Academics
    Major/Minor Guidance, Study Best Practices, Writing/Research Tips
  • Career
    How to Land the Interview, Internship/Full-Time Job Search, Negotiating Salaries
  • Leadership
    Best Practices for Club Positions, Advice in managing Sorority’s demands
  • Personal development
    Stress Management, Handle Academic/Social pressures, Work/Life Balance

The program is designed to be informal and mentor pairs can choose to meet as often or little as they like.

We had some great alumnae events in NYC and Charlotte for Founder’s Day and plan to host a second round of events in May for AAPI month. Please look out for updates from your local Alumnae Network volunteers. If you want to become a volunteer for your city, sign up here!

Delta Phi Lambda Philanthropy Challenge

Who & When: This challenge is open to all active undergraduate sisters of our sorority and will go from January 31-July 31.

Why: This challenge will help support our national goal to raise $10,000 for our philanthropy, American Bone Health.

How to Win: The region (Southeast, Northeast, Midwest) that raises the most money by Convention will be awarded our national philanthropy trophy! Money can be raised through various methods such as bake sales, asking your friends and family, hosting different events, and etc.! Click here for 38 fun ways to raise money in a college setting. DPhiL Week and 3 C’s Week are also great times to host a regional or university-wide fundraising event to support osteoporosis awareness. How to Send in Donations: Chapters should donate the money straight to DPhiL via check (with university and chapter name) or paypal (username: so that we can track your progress. You will also have to fill out the fundraising section on the CEP form where it asks for the amount of money donated.
