This month, Beta Chapter presents the 3rd annual Stroll for the Kids at the University of Cincinnati on Nov. 12. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. EST.

Stroll for The Kids is a stroll competition and dance showcase. Between competing stroll performances, we will be showcasing dance groups, or stroll teams, who wish to perform. This year, we are also having a unity stroll. The unity stroll will consist of members of various Greek-lettered organizations to represent Greek unity among all the councils.

The mission of Stroll for The Kids is to promote Greek unity. However, one of the most important reasons we host Stroll for The Kids is to give back. Every year we choose a different non-profit organization to raise money for that aims to aid youth, hence our event name. This year’s beneficiary is Asian American Community Services’ program, Healthy Asian Youth (HAY). HAY seeks to serve the many unmet needs of the disadvantaged children of Columbus, Ohio, with mentorship, academic assistance, and constructive alternatives. More information can be found at their website in the list of links below.

This year, our goal is to raise $500 for HAY, and we can’t do it without your help. We will be charging $3 for admission. All proceeds will go toward HAY. Performers and judges will not be charged admission as a thank you for their assistance with our event. However, if you want to donate to our cause, but you are also performing/judging, plan to pay the admission fee or cannot make it to the event, we will happily accept donations through our GoFundMe and Venmo accounts, links provided below. Additionally, if you want to secure your admission for Stroll for The Kids, we will gladly accept your $3 payment via the GoFundMe or Venmo as well. Just make sure you notify us first.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Liz Nguyen via email at or by phone at (513) 739-1862.
